RCMP raiding three properties on Tk’emlups reserve

TK’EMLUPS — Kamloops RCMP are executing a trio of search warrants in Tk’emlups te Secwepemc Tuesday (May 13) morning.
Members of the Kamloops detachment and other agencies are carrying out the warrants on Chief Louis Way, Ricardo Road and the 600-block of Shuswap Road. In a news release, RCMP say police are conducting the search warrants at two businesses and a home, but don’t specify which building is on which stretch of roadway.
RCMP say residents may notice more police activity in Tk’emlups than usual and they’re asked to avoid the areas mentioned until officers have departed.
