RCMP release photos of suspects in North Shore assault that left teen seriously injured
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking the public’s help in advancing an assault investigation that took place on the North Shore two months ago.
Back on March 13 at around 9:30 p.m., RCMP say the teenage victim had been in a grey Volkswagen on the 700-block of Tranquille Road when an altercation broke out with a group of people. The stretch of roadway is mostly bordered by Northills Shopping Centre.
Police say the teenager was struck with an object and was seriously injured and required emergency surgery.
“Since then, the investigation has been progressing and police have obtained two suspect images to release to the public,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson states. “We are releasing the images to the public with the hope that someone will be able to identify them.”
