Bottle hopes to inspire at National Aboriginal Hockey Championships

KAMLOOPS — Indigenous strength, excellence and unity will be celebrated at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships, which are scheduled to get underway on Monday (May 5) at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.

Hosted by the City of Kamloops and Tkemlúps te Secwépemc, the under-18 tournament will feature many of the top First Nations, Inuit and Métis players in the country.

Male and female teams from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario will jostle for national supremacy, along with a team representing the east and north of Canada.
