THE TATTLE OF HASTINGS: Girls Skate Kamloops grinds down barriers

KAMLOOPS — Girls Skate Kamloops is a peer-led group dedicated to fostering female representation in the local skateboarding community.

Sessions take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Rotary Skate Park on McArthur Island.

No registration is required and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Volunteer teacher Jorja Johnston recently invited Marty Hastings of CFJC Today out to the park for a few lessons and she features in the latest edition of the Tattle of Hastings.
