Canadians, world leaders congratulate Mark Carney and Liberals on election win

OTTAWA — Reaction is pouring in from across Canada and the globe after Prime Minister Mark Carney led the Liberal party to victory in Monday’s federal election.

It is the party’s fourth straight election win, although it’s still not clear if the Liberals will have a minority or majority government.

Here’s a look at what notable Canadians, world leaders and other prominent figures are saying:

I wish him, and the government he will lead, success as they navigate our country forward during these challenging times.
