Boogie The Bridge on final sprint to race day

KAMLOOPS — The 28th edition of the CFJC TV Boogie the Bridge is almost upon us as runners will find their mark, get set, and go this Sunday (April 27).

“Get there bright and early! We have 13 bands, including a main stage band called Handsome Lou. So there’s lots of entertainment and high energy,” Jo Berry, RUNClub Founder and the Executive Director of the Boogie the Bridge Society said.

“The runners will set off between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. at Riverside Park, so we expect lots of cheers from the crowds during takeoff.”

Bibs and other running attire can be collected during Boogie Expo at Moccasin Square Gardens until 7:00 p.m. Friday (April 25) evening or between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Saturday. You can also pick up your race package on race day Sunday.

“Of course, there are those who wait to register to the last second. You can register at the Boogie the Bridge expo this weekend at Moccasin Square Gardens or on race day in the park. So you have lots of opportunities to register,” Berry added.
