Kamloops Fire Rescue crews knock down early morning fire outside Lower Sahali business

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) crews made quick work of a fire near a Lower Sahali business early Monday (April 21) morning.
KFR Platoon Captain Ken Hartt says two trucks and 15 firefighters responded behind Notre Dame Tire where pallets and tires were on fire. The call on the scanner came before 4:00 a.m. Monday.
Hartt says crews knocked down the fire within a half hour. There were no injuries or significant damage reported, and KFR investigators are determining the cause.
