Eight Kamloopsians honoured with 2025 exemplary service awards

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops has handed out its Exemplary Service Awards to eight local residents who have “dedicated their time and service to the city.”
The awards are bestowed upon recipients by Kamloops City Council as a formal recognition of their contributions to the community. This year’s winners are as follows:
- Julie Dormer
- Wayne McRann
- Kathleen Larose
- Ricky Marshall
- Anna Harrison
- Howard Grieve
- Sheila Minten
- Sebastian Chalmers-Owega
Last month, the City sought nominees for this award in two different categories – people over and under the age of 30.
