KAMLOOPS — A man accused of stabbing four people at a North Shore party just days after the COVID-19 pandemic was declared is back in court this week.

The incident unfolded at a Carson Crescent apartment complex on March 28, 2020. A 59-year-old man died at the scene and three other people were injured.

Michael Palmer, 43 at the time, was arrested less than two hours after police were called. He is facing once count of murder and three counts of attempted murder.

RCMP said they believed the suspect and the victims knew each other.
