Power out to 1,200+ near 100 Mile House

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Hundreds of people are without power between Sheridan Lake and 100 Mile House Thursday afternoon (April 10).

BC Hydro says the outage, affecting 1,253 customers, was reported at 2:40 p.m.

The utility says the situation was caused by a tree coming down over hydro lines.

As of 3:00 p.m. Thursday, a crew was assigned to respond.
