ER in 100 Mile House closed for sixth time in 2025
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Residents in the 100 Mile House area will be without emergency room coverage for much of the day Thursday (April 10).
Interior Health says the ER at the 100 Mile District General Hospital will be closed for 13 hours – from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. today.
This is the sixth ER closure of the year in 100 Mile House with people being told to head to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake if they need emergency care. All other inpatient services will continue as normal at 100 Mile Hospital.
As has been the case during past emergency room closures across all affected communities, Interior Health says people who need life-saving emergency care should call 9-1-1.
