Kamloops cancer care centre won’t have PET-CT scanner, no plans for redesign: Minister Osborne

KAMLOOPS — Concerns have been raised over the operation of the Kamloops cancer care centre that is expected to open in 2028.
B.C. Health Minister Josie Osborne addressed some of those concerns on Wednesday (April 2) during an interview with CFJC Today and CBC Radio Kamloops.
Among topics were shared operational responsibilities between Interior Health and BC Cancer, the feasibility of redesign and whether the facility will include a PET-CT scanner.
