Hospital District chair O’Reilly optimistic after ‘productive’ meeting with province on cancer centre

KAMLOOPS — Thompson Regional Hospital District board members met with B.C. Health Minister Josie Osborne and Minister of Infrastructure Bowinn Ma last week in Victoria.
Topics of discussion included the planned Kamloops cancer care centre and locations for its departments.
Hospital district board chair Mike O’Reilly told CFJC Today on Monday (March 31) the meeting was productive and concerns over equipment needs and operational fluidity were addressed.
