Lillooet emergency department closed until Sunday morning

LILLOOET, B.C. — The emergency department in Lillooet is out of service once again Saturday (March 29).
In a news release, Interior Health says the E.R. at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre will be closed from 7:00 a.m. Saturday to 8:00 a.m. Sunday — a total of 25 hours.
No reason is given for the closure.
Anyone in the Lillooet area who needs emergency medical care is urged to call 9-1-1 or attend the emergency department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
