Emergency Closure

100 Mile House emergency department closed Saturday night

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Residents of the 100 Mile House area in need of emergency medical care will need to look elsewhere Saturday night (March 29).

Interior Health says the emergency department at 100 Mile House District General Hospital will be closed as of 7:00 p.m. Saturday. It is set to reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday.

IH did not list a reason for the closure.

All other inpatient services will continue as normal at the hospital.

Anyone in need of emergency care is advised to call 9-1-1 or attend the emergency room at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.
