Multi-vehicle incident shuts down Highway 1 near Peterson Creek Bridge

KAMLOOPS — Ambulance crews and RCMP have been called to a multi-vehicle incident near the Peterson Creek Bridge along Highway 1 in Kamloops Friday afternoon (Mar. 28).

As of 4:30 p.m., the Trans Canada Highway in Kamloops just east of the Peterson Creek Bridge is shutdown in the westbound direction as a result of a semi rollover.

Emergency responders are on scene, with reports of five vehicles involved.

There’s no official word yet on the severity of the incident.
