Blazers GM Clouston talks arrival of Vees, impact of WHL Expansion Draft

KAMLOOPS — The Penticton Vees will join the Western Hockey League in time for the 2025-2026 season and Chilliwack is expected to land a franchise in 2026.

Kamloops Blazers’ general manager Shaun Clouston is welcoming the addition of two more provincial rivals, neither of which require extensive travel to reach.

Clouston offered a few thoughts on the the 2025 WHL Expansion Draft (slated for May 7) during an interview with CFJC Today.
