Multi-vehicle incident closes stretch of Highway 5 north of Barriere

BARRIERE, B.C. — Traffic is closed in both directions on a stretch of Highway 5 north of Barriere.
DriveBC first reported of a multi-vehicle incident on Highway 5 near Thuya Creek Road at around 11:10 a.m. Monday (March 24). The roadway from Barriere to Little Fort is closed.
Drivers are asked to watch for emergency crews and vehicles, and to expect delays.
Another update is due at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
