
Storm shut out Wranglers 3-0, tie playoff series 2-2
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm have tied their second round Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) series at two games apiece.
Goaltender Brenner Fyfe stopped all 24 shots he faced as the Storm shut out the 100 Mile House Wranglers 3-0 in Game Four of the Doug Birks Division Final at McArthur Island Wednesday (March 18) night.
Luca D’Amore got things going for the Storm with two goals 1:37 apart late in the first period. Luke Rothfos added a power play goal in the second.
The best-of-seven series is tied 2-2 with Game Five set to take place Friday (March 21) in 100 Mile House. The series will shift back to Kamloops for Game Six Saturday (March 22) at McArthur Park Arena.
