Police seize ammunition, drugs from Williams Lake home
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A large number of drugs, illicit cigarettes, and ammunition were seized from a home in Williams Lake.
In a news release issued Tuesday (March 18), Williams Lake RCMP say they obtained a search warrant for a home on Lakeside Drive where they found and seized more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine, 298 cartons of illicit cigarettes, an SKS loaded rifle with a prohibited magazine, multiple loaded pistol magazines, bulk ammunition and suspected GHB.
The seizure stems from March 7, 2025, when RCMP say patrolling officers saw a vehicle related to drug trafficking in the area pull into a fast-food restaurant parking lot and meet with another driver.
Police say both drivers were pulled over at different locations. The driver and passenger of one vehicle were arrested for drug possession while the other driver was released on scene without process.
