RCMP say one man in custody after weapons, threats report in Brocklehurst

KAMLOOPS — One man was arrested after Kamloops Mounties were called out to a weapons threats report Monday morning (March 17).
In an email to CFJC Today, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says officers were called to the 800-block of Evergreen Place around 7:00 a.m. Monday for the weapons report, but didn’t find a suspect on scene.
Shortly after around 9:00 a.m., a large police presence was seen in the parking lot of the Brock Centre shopping area, where police say a man was arrested in relation to that earlier report.
Evelyn adds that the man remains in custody.
