RCMP say one person killed in Friday afternoon crash on Clearwater Valley Road

CLEARWATER, B.C. — One person was killed in a head-on crash on the Clearwater Valley Road near Second Canyon just after 2:00 p.m. Friday (March 14) afternoon.
The RCMP say they were called just to the crash between a northbound pickup truck and a southbound SUV on the road that leads into Wells Gray Provincial Park.
“Unfortunately, one person did die at the scene,” a statement from the RCMP to CFJC Today said. Two other people were taken to hospital, though there is no word on their condition.
“There is no evidence of alcohol or drugs as a contributing factor,” the RCMP statement added. “The investigation is still ongoing”
