Westsyde Secondary garners silver medal in BC High School Curling Championships

KAMLOOPS — Westsyde Secondary earned a silver medal in the girls’ division at the B.C. High School Curling Championships, which wrapped up earlier this month in Kimberley. 

Moscrop Secondary of Burnaby knocked off Westsyde 9-4 in the gold-medal game. 

The Westsyde team includes skip Bethany Evans, third Jacey Hallstrom, second Maya Stodola, lead Alicia Evans, alternate Kylie Bottineau, coach Brad Thompson and assistant coach/team manager Kendra Hallstrom. 

Westsyde posted a 5-0 record in round-robin play.
