LYTTON, B.C. — Police are identifying the victim of a homicide in Lytton three years after her death.
In an update Wednesday (March 12), the RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit (SED MCU) says the investigation into the suspicious death of Shenita Myers continues.
Back on Feb. 19, 2022, Lillooet and Lytton RCMP officers responded to a complaint after the body of the 27-year-old woman from Williams Lake was found in a home in Lytton.
“With the passage of time, it is hoped that someone who may have not been willing or able to talk to investigators two years ago, may now be in a better position to provide information,” S/Sgt. Jason Smart states.
