Pile burning to take place at Centennial Park in 100 Mile

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A pile burn could get underway in the District of 100 Mile House as early as Wednesday (March 5).
The BC Wildfire Service says it’s supporting the 100 Mile House Fire Department in a pile burning at Centennial Park. In a news release, the wildfire service says the burning will only proceed if conditions are favourable and allow for venting.
Smoke may be visible to 100 Mile House residents and drivers travelling along Highway 97.
