100 Mile House emergency room to be closed for seven hours Saturday
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Interior Health says the emergency department at the 100 Mile District General Hospital will be closed for the next seven hours.
In a news release just after 11:15 a.m. Saturday (March 1), Interior Health said the 100 Mile House ER was closed “immediately” with the facility set to reopen at 7:00 p.m. this evening.
Interior Health did not provide a reason for the abrupt closure of the 100 Mile House emergency room, which is usually open 24/7.
“Patients in need of emergency care are being told to head to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake,” Interior Health said.
