‘You can’t see the signs of instability’; BC Interior residents urged to be mindful of tricky avalanche conditions
KAMLOOPS — Backcountry users in Kamloops and area are urged to be extra cautious of tricky snowpack conditions over the weekend.
A special public avalanche warning issued by Avalanche Canada is expected to be in place until the end of day Monday (March 3).
According to Avalanche Canada’s online bulletin as of Thursday afternoon, conditions in the Shuswap are expected to be moderate throughout the weekend while the North Thompson is expected the range between moderate and considerable.
