Stolen truck from Valleyview found torched: Kamloops RCMP

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking the public for dashcam and security video after a stolen vehicle was found on fire.

RCMP say officers responded to the 2800-block of Valleyview Drive shortly after 4:00 a.m. Monday (Feb. 24) where a resident woke up to find his 2007 black Ford F-350 missing from his driveway.

Minutes later, police say a truck was found abandoned and on fire on the Hook Road off-ramp outside city limits. The Pritchard Fire Department extinguished the burning vehicle.

In a news release issued Thursday (Feb. 27), RCMP confirmed the truck to be stolen.

Anyone with further information or video is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
