Merritt emergency room to be closed for 13 hours beginning Tuesday evening

MERRITT, B.C. — The emergency department in Merritt will be subject to its third closure of 2025, beginning Tuesday night (Feb. 25).
Interior Health says the emergency department at Nicola Valley Hospital will be closed starting at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, reopening at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Those who need emergency medical care during this closure are asked to visit Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops or call 9-1-1.
The Merritt emergency room previously saw closures last weekend and on February 8.
