Battle of the Biscuit proceeds with exuberant celebrations, Team Canada inspiration, community support

KAMLOOPS — The Battle of the Biscuit is underway.
Sixteen teams from across the province are taking part in the under-11 tournament, including five from the Kamloops Minor Hockey Association.
It’s one of more than 20 tournaments hosted each year by the KMHA, and it’s a fundraiser that takes place near the end of the season, making it it challenging to find sponsorship and donations.
But, as CFJC Today reports, the community stepped forward to make the tournament a success.
