WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — First responders in Williams Lake will drop the puck so local kids have the chance to do the same.
Williams Lake RCMP and Williams Lake Fire Department will play a charity hockey game on Friday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. from Rink No. 1 at Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex with funds going towards Kidsport Williams Lake.
KidSport provides grants to kids 18-years-old and under to help them cover sport registration fees and equipment costs.
Williams Lake RCMP say tickets are available in person at Foundry Cariboo Chilcotin, the RCMP detachment, Cycle Logic, BGC and at the door ahead of puck drop. Adult tickets will cost $10, kids under the age of 12 will cost $5 and family tickets will cost $20.
