Kamloops skip Brown and B.C. enter day off second in Pool A at Scotties Tournament of Hearts

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops’ Corryn Brown and Team B.C. enter their day off at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts second place in Pool A.

The Kamloops skip and B.C., which also consists of Erin Pincott, Sarah Koltun, and Samantha Fisher, defeated Nunavut 10-3 Monday (Feb. 17) to improve their record at the national women’s curling championship to 4-1.

Monday night’s win for Brown follows an 11-4 opening night win over Team Sturmay of Alberta Friday (Feb. 14), a 9-8 defeat to Team Skrlik of Alberta Saturday, a 7-6 win over Saskatchewan Sunday and a 9-3 win over Northern Ontario Monday.

Brown and B.C. take on the top team in Pool A, 4-0 Rachel Homan and Team Canada, Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. Pacific. Brown and B.C. will wrap up their round robin schedule with games against 2-2 New Brunswick Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and 1-3 Prince Edward Island Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
