Tobiano Golf Course Sold

Tobiano Golf Course sold to Coquitlam-based JK World Group

TOBIANO B.C. — The Tobiano Golf Course has been sold to JK World Group, a Coquitlam-based company that recently bought the Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club in Coquitlam.

The Kamloops-area golf course – which opened in 2008 – will be called the GreenTee Country Club Tobiano. It becomes the third addition to JK World Group’s golf course portfolio joining GreenTee Country Club Langley (formerly Pagoda Ridge).

“A new era begins! We’re thrilled to welcome Tobiano Golf Course to the GreenTee family as GreenTee Country Club Tobiano,” a social media post said.

While details are not clear at this time, Michael Ternier, who bought Tobiano Golf Course in 2017, has confirmed the sale to CFJC Today. He declined comment Saturday, saying he wanted to wait until JK World Group released a statement of their own.

CFJC Today has also reached out to JK World Group for comment.

Designed by Thomas McBroom, Tobiano was named Canada’s Best Golf Course in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 by the World Golf Awards. It lost to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club in 2023.
