TNRD asking residents to provide feedback on communication ahead of policy review
KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is asking residents to provide their feedback on communication with the local government in the form of a short survey.
The TNRD says the survey is meant to gain insights into how residents receive information from the regional district, what information they look for, whether they are satisfied with a number of topics related to communications and how information sharing could be increased or improved.
In a news release issued Tuesday (Feb. 11), the TNRD says a report with proposed amendments to its Communications Policy is expected to be brought to the Policy and Governance and Committee in late March 2025. A summary of survey responses will be included.
The TNRD says its Communications Policy was last updated in 2018.
