Rebranded Kamloops United FC kicks off season at home

KAMLOOPS — Open wide for some soccer.

Kamloops United FC (KUFC), formerly known as Rivers FC, announced its schedule for its fourth season. Kamloops’ men’s and women’s semi-pro soccer clubs will once again compete in League1BC in 2025.

Both KUFC squads are looking to make the League1BC playoffs for the first time in club history. Last season, the men finished sixth in the table with four wins, seven losses and one draw, while the women finished seventh with one win, seven losses and four draws.

Each of the nine League1BC clubs are scheduled to play one another twice in 2024: one at home and one away.

KUFC kicks off their 2025 campaign at Hillside Stadium on April 12 against Langley United. The full schedule is:

  • April 12 – v. Langley United
  • April 19 – v. Evolution FC (Coquitlam)
  • April 26 – v. Altitude FC (North Vancouver)
  • May 4 – at Nanaimo United Football Club
  • May 10 – at Vancouver Whitecaps Academy (men) and Vancouver Rise Academy (women)
  • May 17 – v. Burnaby FC
  • May 25 – at TSS Rovers (Burnaby)
  • May 31 – at Unity FC (Surrey)
  • June 7 – v. Vancouver Whitecaps Academy (men) and Vancouver Rise Academy (women)
  • June 15 – at Altitude FC (North Vancouver)
  • June 22 – v. Nanaimo United Football Club
  • June 28 – at Evolution FC (Coquitlam)
  • July 5 – at Burnaby FC
  • July 12 – v. Unity FC (Surrey)
