Pair of flights between Kamloops and Vancouver cancelled because of snow at YVR

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops air passengers are encouraged to check their flight status if they’re traveling to or from Vancouver Monday (Feb. 3).
In a post to social media, Vancouver International Airport says snow is falling at YVR and crews are working on the airfield to keep passengers and planes moving safely.
An 8:55 a.m. Air Canada flight from YVR to Kamloops Airport (YKA) was cancelled, as well as a 10:30 a.m. flight from YKA to Vancouver. YVR’s flight status page online shows an earlier flight from YKA to Vancouver arrived at 7:20 a.m.
As of publication, the remaining two departures from Kamloops and the three departures from Vancouver are still on time.
