KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP investigators have released photos of two people believed to be connected to a North Shore arson investigation.

In a news release issued Friday (Jan. 31), spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened on Friday, January 3, at about 7:46 a.m. Officers responded to the 200-block of Briar Avenue, finding someone had lit a fire next to a building’s entrance.

Investigators believe there were three people in the area at the time and are releasing surveillance photos of two of them.

“Police have identified one of the three people captured on security footage, and are releasing images of the remaining two in hopes that someone will recognize them and contact us to help further the investigation,” said Evelyn.
