Barriere to host B.C. Stick Curling Championships
KAMLOOPS — The B.C. Stick Curling Championships are scheduled to run from Feb. 6 to Feb. 8 at the Barriere Curling Club.
Twelve teams from across the province will compete in women’s stick and open stick divisions, including two that include members from Kamloops.
Linda DeBelser and Cathy Ausmus will be in action on the women’s side, while Jay Barlow and Stan Boone jostle for provincial glory in the open division.
The opening ceremony is slated for 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 6, the concession will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the finals in both division will get underway at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 8.
