Public warns of Shuswap man with history of assaulting sex trade workers appearing on dating apps

VERNON — A man who was convicted for violent crimes against sex workers has reportedly reappeared online and trying to connect with women.

Posts on social media show Curtis Sagmoen, going by the name Trevor, on dating sites and apps.

People on social media shared photos from the dating profile and warned others to avoid the man at all costs.

Sagmoen has a long history of convictions, including violence against sex trade workers and breaching orders. His cases have drawn protests outside courthouses.
