Vehicle incident halts traffic on Highway 97 east of Monte Creek

UPDATE (10:45 a.m.): DriveBC says the incident is clear and Highway 97 reopened.

EARLIER: KAMLOOPS — A vehicle incident east of Monte Creek has closed traffic on Highway 97 in both directions.

DriveBC first reported of the incident on Highway 97 between Hanna Road and Duck Range Road at around 8:15 a.m. Friday (Jan. 10).

A detour is available via Highways 1, 97A and 97B. Another update is due at 11:00 a.m.
