Blazers’ forward Zahejsky talks recovering from injury, finding confidence in second half

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers picked Vit Zahejsky of Czechia second overall in the 2024 CHL Import Draft last summer.

He’s a highly touted offensive talent with NHL Draft potential, but the 17-year-old forward has faced significant challenges during his rookie season in the WHL.

Zahejsky spoke to CFJC Today about some of those hurdles on Tuesday (Jan. 7) morning at Sandman Centre.
