Blazers acquire F Courtney from Everett for pick

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers have added a veteran forward ahead of the Western Hockey League (WHL) trade deadline.

In a news release issued Tuesday (Jan. 7), the team says it has acquired 20-year-old forward Beau Courtney from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a seventh-round selection in the 2026 Prospects Draft.

To make room for Courtney on their roster, the Blazers placed 20-year-old defenceman Layton Feist on WHL waivers. Feist racked up 18 points in 35 games for the Blazers this season after being acquired from Spokane in May.

Courtney has five goals and four assists for nine points in 31 games with the Silvertips so far this season. In his four-year WHL career, Courtney has amassed 67 points in 198 games.
