KAMLOOPS — The boil water advisory that was in place for residents in Sun Rivers has been lifted.
Utility provider Bluestem Utilities lifted the alert for the community located on Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc land just before 1:00 p.m. Monday (Jan. 7).
The boil water advisory was issued on Dec. 31 because of a water main break that affected all of Sun Rivers.
Residents in Sun Rivers were told on Friday that the advisory would be lifted once testing of the water was completed.
