KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm are within striking distance of first place in their division, despite hovering around the .500 mark for much of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League campaign.

With a record of 15-3-1-0, the club is four points behind the Doug Birks Division-leading 100 Mile House Wranglers, with a matchup between the teams slated for Saturday (Jan. 4), a 7 p.m. start at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.

As CFJC Today reports, Storm general manager Matt Kolle has been active ahead of the Jan. 10 trade deadline and is teasing more movement in the coming days.
