Kamloops RCMP release images, description of robbery suspect

KAMLOOPS — RCMP have released identifying details of a person suspected in a robbery in the area of Aberdeen Mall earlier this month.

In a news release, spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says Kamloops RCMP members were called to the 1300-block of Hillside Drive at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, responding to a robbery report.

“Multiple officers responded to the area and quickly located and arrested one person, who was also wanted on arrest warrants,” said Evelyn. “Based on the investigation, police believe two people were involved. We are releasing an image of the outstanding suspect to the public with the hope that someone will recognize him and contact the detachment as soon as possible.”
