Search and Rescue volunteers deploying to find missing man southwest of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Search and Rescue (KSAR) volunteers are deploying to assist in the search for a missing man southwest of city limits.

In a social media post, KSAR says it was called around around 1:15 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 28) to help find the man in the Chuwhels Mountain area.

“The team is getting ready to head out with all ground searchers and sled operators available,” the post said. “This will be KSAR’s 74th task this year.”

This is the second call out for KSAR volunteers this week.
