Merritt RCMP hunting for two suspects in menacing barbershop assault
MERRITT, B.C. — A barber in Merritt was assaulted by two suspects in what police believe was a targeted attack.
Merritt RCMP say two suspects wearing all black clothing, with face coverings and gloves, entered JJ’s Barbershop at the corner of Voght Street and Walters Street at around 8:30 a.m. Monday (Dec. 16).
RCMP say the two assaulted the lone man working at the barbershop, but nothing was taken. The two then ran across Voght Street to enter what appeared to be a white, four-door 2017 Kia Sportage.
