Blazers offer predictions on Teddy Bear Toss goal scored

KAMLOOPS — Brad Lukowich scored for the Kamloops Blazers on Dec. 5, 1993, to cue the first-ever Teddy Bear Toss.

The brainchild of former Blazers’ marketing director Don Larson has since spread across the hockey world, with hospitals, charities and children reaping the benefits.

This Friday (Dec. 6), the tradition will continue when the Blazers host the Seattle Thunderbirds, and thousands of stuffed animals, tuques, mittens, gloves and scarves will rain down from the stands.

As CFJC Today reports, there are differing opinions on who will score the big goal.
