Organ transplant recipients salute health care workers at Royal Inland Hospital

KAMLOOPS — BC Transplant volunteers visited hospitals across the province on Thursday (Dec. 5) to say thank you for making organ donation and transplant possible.
The event – Operation Popcorn – brought organ recipients Tony Maidment and Abby Farnsworth to Royal Inland Hospital, where they handed out popcorn to staff and expressed gratitude for their life-saving work.
As CFJC Today reports, it was a special morning for a few nurses at RIH.
