Kamloops RCMP’s Stuff the Cruiser drive collects 2,200 items for Christmas Amalgamated

KAMLOOPS — A police van full of toys made its way to Christmas Amalgamated over the weekend.

Kamloops RCMP held its annual Stuff the Cruiser toy drive in front of the Toys ‘R’ Us on Notre Dame Drive on Saturday, Nov. 30, where officers and Sgt. Safety Bear collected 2,200 items and $365 in cash for holiday hampers to children and teenagers.

“It was wonderful to see so much generosity from the people in the city who helped collect gifts for Christmas Amalgamated,” said Cpl. Dana Napier. “It was incredible to see how much time and effort people contributed to help Kamloops families.”
